For homework i had to write a story for kids under five. So can you please read it and tell em if you would read it to your kid, If not why? and is there anything i need to change simplify.Tiger, lion, Dragon and RoosterFor many moons Tiger, Lion, Dragon and Rooster Fought over who would be king of the land. I should be king because I can roar the loudest , Proclaimed Lion with a mighty roar. No I should be king because I can fly the highest , Said Dragon as he leaped into the sky. No I should be king because I can hide the best , said Tiger, and he leaped behind a bush so none of the animals could see him. Rooster pecked the grain on the ground he didn t know to best the other animals.Then he got an idea. I should be king because I m the wisest , cluked Rooster.All the other animals burst into laughter. Why, why do you think that you are wise little bird? , Asked dragon, almost crying from laughing so hard.Rooster his head up proudly. Because I know how to choose the king , Rooster said.The Other Animals stopped Laughing and stared at Rooster. How do you think we can do that little bird? Asked Tiger.Rooster pecked the ground once more. Simple , He clucked We come back tomorrow with a test to give everyone else. Who ever passes all the tests is king All the animals Agreed and went home to think of a test.The next day.The Four animals met again in the morning, Each with a test ready to give. I ll go first Announced Lion. Whoever can roar the loudest wins my test . With that Dragon, Tiger and Roost let out the loudest roar they could, But Lions roar drowned out the rest to just a squeak. My test now , said Dragon. Whoever can fly the Highest wins . Lion and tiger jumped up into the air, but didn t get very high. Even rooster couldn t get high when he flapped his wings. Dragon smiled and jumped into the sky. He soared around the clouds and came swooping back down. And now me , Said tiger. Whoever can hide in the best spot wins my test . Dragon flew up into the clouds, but everyone could see his scales glittering through.Lion His behind some bushes, but all the animals could see his tail poking out.Rooster ran behind a tree, but everyone would see parts of his body sticking out at each end. Finally tiger leaped into the top of the tree, He hid behind the leaves and no one could see him. What s your test little bird? asked Dragon when Tiger had come down. My test was the tests, and you all passed Rooster clucked.The animals looked at rooster furiously We can t all win, we can t all be king Roared Lion. Rooster Jumped onto a log. Calm down, We can all be king Lion, you can be king of the savannah. Tiger, Your can be king of the jungle and dragon, you can be king of the sky Rooster cooed excitedly. Lion and tiger Roared proudly, but Dragon eyed Rooster suspiciously. And what are you king of little bird? Dragon asked. Me, oh. I ll be King of my humble farmyard Rooster said. Dragon nodded and took off into the sky. Tiger leaped into the jungle and Lion raced onto the open plains.Rooster pecked the ground again, then strutted back to his farmyard.I can assure you this is my own work.not collage, Year 9 English.
