I have to read an article for school that's really boring and has really confusing words that I have to look up and it's literally like i read it and then forget what I'm reading like it goes thru one ear and out the other ear. Any advice?

My reading teacher is crazy!?
First of all, he feels like he knows everything. He will go out of his way to prove to us that he is right. Even when he figures out he is wrong he will say something like, " This dictionary does not have enough information to define the exact definition of the word" He says stuff like, " You guys can't accept the fact that your wrong, which will keep you back in life" Which just makes him seem like a hypocrite He also brags about how rich he is, which cannot be true considering the fact that he is a teacher, and currently teachers do not earn a lot of money. What simply blew the whole thing over top is the amount of classwork and homework he gave us today He made us do a VIS on fifty college level words Fifty. Then he said to make a story using all those words. All because the class was loud when they came in. I came in late, and did not see this, I also got yelled out for being late. I was still required to do the work he assigned. BUT, when his favorite goody goody student comes in late, he does not question why she is late. NO, instead he's buggy me on why I was simply two minutes late, while she is freaking, like fifteen minutes late. Then he goes on, yelling, explaining how he is going to overload us with work because of the way people came in Then I just freak out. Usually, before class a load of students come into his class because they all love him. I really don't know why. All the boys hover him as if he is a god. The boys who don't do their work and get bad grades, anyway. Usually those people are the one's making a huge commotion. Anyway, he goes on and on about how we can't respect him. When he assigns us the work, he sweetly tells THE GOODY GOODY that she doesn't have to do the work. THAT SHE IS EXUSED AND MAY ROAM FREE AROUND THE WHOLE FREAKING SCHOOL. I seriously freak out at this point. I mean I was late too When I say this he laughs and tells me that he doesn't care. I'm just there, starting at him with the foulest of all looks. I mean, really? ? Anyway, he starts yelling at me when I start defending myself. Nobody in the class bothers to help me. NOOO, but they are always the one's saying that they are gonna say something. Well, those morans sat their while I was all like, " Guys, do you really think this is fair? " But no. They can't open up thier mouths because they are scared of that retart. SCARED. At the end of the class peroid everyone is like, " I can't believe that guy " and I'm like, " I can't believe you guys What happened to I'm not gonna let him get away with this? ? That next time he acts this unfair I'm gonna say something?" Well they claimed they did. Those freaking retarts. Also, he was throwing paper balls into the garbage can, trying to show off. Some kid in our class say, " If you make the shot, then we get 20 words more, if you don't, we get 20 words less." He asks if anyone else is up to it. A bunch of people raise their hands, including me. He points to me, OUT OF EVERYONE WHO FREAKING RAISED THEIR HANDS, and say's, " You'll see what happene's Livila." Sadly, he made the shot. He turns to me, and has the happiest grin on his face, which I would have been sooo happy to take off. " See Livila, see what you did?" and once again, I freak out. " I was not the only freaking person Half of the class raised thier hands " Suddenly, almost evryone denys this fact. I felt so alone, so hurt, and so angry. Not even my BFF said anything Of course he canceled the debt when he noticed that I was in the verge of tears. Which only made me more angry, I mean, give the class the class a bunch of work, make fun of me, laugh at me, but feeling sorry for me when you took away my dignity? That was beyond reasonable, and made me feel less like a human. Have you ever had a crazy teacher that made you feel so shitty? Thanks for reading.By the way, I'm sorry that this was long. I love teaching kids how to read and vocabulary. When I was in 10th grade, I had to tutor some kindergarten children and several other elementary children and we would sit down and read the story they were on and I would help them pronounce words and like the vocabulary words they had to remember I would help them remember those. I really love reading and I love interacting with children.
